Joel is the founder and CIO of Paramount Specialty Finance (“PSF”). Since inception in 2015, PSF has closed over $1.2 Billion in net lease transactions and over $800 million of realizations with zero losses to date. Prior to PSF, Joel spent 9 years at Imperial Capital, a Los Angeles-based Investment Bank and Broker Dealer, on the special situations, high yield, and distressed credit desk, where he analyzed, sourced, and transacted across the entire capital structure. Joel is a native Austinite who received his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin.
